Blossom, I have no personal experience of this so can't be of much help but I just wanted to say I had a friend who had a very similar diagnosis and treatment as your 15 months ago and she has come out the other end. So do hang in there and know there is light at the end of the tunnel and there are a lot of ladies on this site thinking of you x

Hi

Just wanted to send you a hug, you are having to cope with so much at the moment. A friend had bc a couple of years ago and now she is back and bouncing around, so hang in there.

With the nausea did they give you anything for it? The doc gave me some wafers which you just dissolve in your mouth and apparently it disappears within minutes, the pharmacist said they were a pretty amazing drug. If you want the name just send me a message.

So sorry to hear you are so low Blossom.  I cried buckets during and after my treatment - sometimes that is all I felt like doing.  I used to look at myself in the mirror and wonder what had happened to the person I was.  I still have bad days and reading your posts brought tears to my eyes as it does bring it all back.  But however dreadful it all seems at the moment you will get through it and it does get better!! I know how difficult it is but try to hold on to that thought!

Hi Blossom, any improvent in how you are feeling?

Just to add to what lindy lou lou said, my friend had a hard time accepting the ravages of chemo to her appearance. This is temporary.

This will pass, so please try and not focus on the short term but say to yourself in 3 months time my hair and eyelashes etc will be starting to grow, just in time for spring.  Focus  on the future, my friend said this helped her a lot.

Maybe try fever tree ginger beer which has a bit of a kick or the milder ginger ale, might help,your nausea.

Apologies it has been awhile but I have been so poorly over the last few weeks since new years eve it's been quite a traumatic time.  I have found it difficult to just cope with the everyday things on the mundane things.   Just as I thought I was getting on well my ulcers have returned so can barely speak or eat or drink.

I hardly sleep and suffered a bit with anxiety.   Roll on end of March
