100 mile bike ride !

DH is busy prepping his bike for the 100 mile London bike ride tomorrow,it will be on the TV at 10 o'clock so you might see him amongst the 20,000 Others  ;D

Just hope I feel able to go down to the finish line to see him come in ,it's 50/50 at the moment  :-\
I don't want to let him down !!

Good luck to him. I will be out watching it with my sister in law and nephews as my brother is riding too for the 2nd time. He completed it last year too.

It won't be letting him down!  He is doing this for himself, you be there ready with a hot bath and warming oils  ;)

Did you watch the prudential womens' race at 7.00 p.m. there was an horrendous crash at the end  :o

Yes he finished at 1315 got his  :medal:

And I managed to get up to see him finish but left him up there . There were lots of bad accidents and he just past Leith hill when there was a terrible incident and the air ambulance was called and the closed the road for a while ! It was just crazy up there  :-\

No I really could of done without going but it meant alot to him to see my face at the finish post he was quite emotional bless !

I bet!  It is said that 1 can see the coast line from Box Hill ……. not an area I know at all!  Apparently since the Olympics those roads are chocka with cyclists every weekend  ::)

My brother was held up by that incident. I saw him cycling through Wimbledon at 1.30pm

You saw him  :o - I don't know that part of the UK at all so it was nice to be on the 'back of a motor bike' along the Thames  ;)
