I really don't think it's any different from what it's always been. As I said my grandfathers thing was in the mid 70s.
Maybe just becoming more common.
Our is easy. If hubby goes first it all comes to me, and if I go first then it goes to him.

Then everything is divided between the kids.

Job done I hope.

Words really fail me.....the whole thing is a terrible farce.

I hope the private prosecution takes this man and hangs him out to dry.

If I didn't know better I would say there has been some kind of conspiracy going on because I simply can't understand why neither the driver nor the city council are going to be held accountable.

None of it has seemed right at all.
Heard some of the injuries sustained by one girl selected to represent Scotland at basketball - yet the driver doesn't seem to be upset at all by what he's done

Has he been interviewed?

I can't understand how, if he lied to employers and/or the DVLA, there isn't a Prosecution.  I feel like helping to fund a Private Prosecution but do we know all the ins and outs - we only see what the Media reports unless we were in Court to listen.

Is there a cover up going in within the Council?

Not a clue.

He refused to answer any questions at the enquiry because of the threat of private prosecution.

It did become very clear however he has lied and lied and lied for years about his fitness to drive. If he had told the truth he would never have been behind the wheel of that lorry and no one would have died that day.

For the driver to have the right not not have to answer questions is an absolute insult to the bereaved families.

I sincerely hope that the driver cant sleep at night because he certainly doesnt deserve to nor does he appear to be overwhelmed by his actions.

I also think that if a gp or an individual reports to dvla concerns re the health of any road user then the dvla has a duty of care to investigate the matter further. 

The stupidity of it all makes me mad.
