can i just add, not once did the consultant mention anti depressants .. even when i told him previous pnd and episodes of anxiety.. every time i spoke or went to the dr they offered them.. ( i am on a low dose of sertraline, have been for years)  but consultant not aware of that !

What did he say when you told him you'd had PND? My consultant told me that because I'd had PND I was therefore much more likely to suffer with peri menopausal depression and anxiety.

he said i shouldnt have been given norethisorine. (my spelling is terrible)  but i have heard that myself because its thought drop in eostrogen after childbirth can contribute to pnd.. i shall ask him that question on tuesday x
