Ive been given system sequi patches , hope they work , havent put one on yet    x

shellie45 - At your age the HRT will be important to protect your heart and bones until you are at least 50.  There are many different HRT preparations so it is a matter of trial and error until you find the right one for you.   It sounds as though Norithisterone doesn't suit you - which patch have you been given? DG x

I agree with DG. Why not ask to try a more natural progesterone like Utrogestan? Or even consider a Mirena? In the past I have reacted badly to older, synthetic progesterones like Norithisterone but I have been fine with newer ones. I am 43 x

I can't find out anything about 'System Sequi Patches' - what is the name on the packet?  Does it say which type of oestrogen and progesterone are in the patches? Do look under TREATMENTS above and see if you can find the patches you have been prescribed.  DG x

DG - I think shellie45 means SysteN Sequi.

Yes, I've just found them on the net - I think this is the same as Evorel sequi/conti but is the German/Swiss brand name as the info seemed to be in German.  I speak a bit of German so was able to work out what it was.

shellie45 - I'd give these a go and see how you feel but you might like to try Femoston Sequi next - they are pills but the progesterone in them is kinder and well tolerated by many women.  DG x

Ive wrote all the other Hrt products to try and give them to my doctor  if i have problems with this one , where is the best place to put a patch on ?? xx

I used to alternate from one side of body to other, usually around bum/thighs. Think there are diagrams on the instructions? BTW, Baby Oil removes the marks really well! x
