I think the emphasis has to be on comfort, whatever is comfortable for you - big small, high, low whatever style gives you comfort is the one to wear.

For me the most comfortable way is whatever doesn't make me aware of my knickers all day.

Dorothy I'm with you. Me & my pants will continue to age disgracefully!  ;D I'm not a geriatric yet either.  ::)

In fact bought some comfy ones in m&s yesterday. 3 pairs of sloggi style ones at a fraction of sloggi prices. My derrière was most thankful.  ;)
