Utrogestan and bladder problems
« on: June 16, 2015, 07:31:47 PM »

Advice please

I have only just started to use utrogestan 100mg and have used it for 5 days vaginally. All my VA symptoms and urinary frequency are back. So going to have to change to oral. Have others had these symptoms and how long did it take to settle.

Thanks

How is the Utrogestan 'delivered'?  Are you using it for a 2 weeks loading period?  I found that some of the symptoms returned but the treatment helped.

Do a search for the product to see how other ladies have fared?  top left side of screen

It's one of the main reasons I couldn't tolerate it.

It made my bladder positively painful. No infection but I needed to wee a lot and my bladder just ached all day every day.
You could always try it orally to see if that helped.

I also had the most painful bleed ever.

All in all it just didn't suit me at all and I was very glad to go back on my patches.

CLKD...Utrogestan is progesterone and not a treatement for VA

Well I took it orally last night, no disaster has befallen me yet and bladder a bit easier this morning. Let's see how it goes. If anything my headache is less.

Thanks for responding
