My experience with Climagest 1mg
« on: June 01, 2015, 06:45:09 PM »

Wanted to share my experience. I've only been on Climagest 1mg for 18 days now and starting to feel like a new person. No more hot flushes, sleeping better, not weeing as much, joints aren't as achy and best of all is I'm not having crazy mood swings. My husband has noticed a huge change. I am so grateful. Especially since I know that it could take months or longer to find a suitable HRT. I wish all you ladies find a speedy treatment as I have xx   ;D

Hi fedup

It took me about 16months to find a right hrt, but part of that was my fault, because I stayed on femoston and flushed my way through twelve of these sixteen months, because my doctor got really abrupt when the subject of hrt came up, and as soon as someone snaps at me, I am put off.
Eventually, I went back, saw some different doctors, who were reluctant to give me patches due to migraine, one of them wouldn't even read my email from Dr Currie, but, I saw yet another doctor, who was on board and now at evorel100mcg, I am also flush free and loving it.

Thank you ladies. My blood tests revealed I'm post menopause.  I'm 39. It felt like some days I didn't know who I was. It's such a relief I'm feeling better with each day.  :)

Went in to doctors today to get repeat prescription and update the doc on how I'm getting on with Climagest. Well I didn't even have to say a word. The doc said I almost skipped into his office. He said I look like a different person so happy and relaxed. Also said the last time he saw me, I had a black cloud hanging over me and now I'm like a rainbow.  Feeling so blessed. Sending good vibes and happiness to all you lovely ladies xx

This is very reassuring and thanks for posting this. I have just turned 50 and have been suffering from daily headaches and occasional migraine for about 18 months now. I remember getting them badly in my 20s when I was on the pill. I Eventually got the docs to take me seriously and, as well as exploring other avenues, he has just started me on Climagest (first one yesterday).

I have also developed bladder issues over the same time period and have been having hot/cold/clammy flushes at night for quite a few years now. Periods are about once every 4/5 months now. Forgetful, clumsy, emotional, weight gain (in weird places) no sex drive - you name it!

I have been very aware and down about my body changing - both inside and out - and all of this added together has made me extremely low. My hubby and I have only been together since 2010 (married in 2012 - we originally met in the 90s, dated for a few months then split up) and I feel like he is getting the worst of me. I am aware that it is out of my control to a certain extent but I hate it all.

I am really hoping that the HRT helps - and seeing posts like this is really positive.

I know everyone is different, but here's hoping :-)
