  :o

Ooo just dyed my hair. I'm normally dark blond but have managed....and I'm not sure how....to go dark brown  :o

Oh heck, not what I intended. I am naturally dark brown, well I was before the grey started, but have been every shade of kind of blond for years.
Even hubby doesn't quite know what to say.

I will forget during the night and get a real fright in the morning I think.

Eeeeekkkk

Dog is fast asleep. I'm not going to tell mother and see if she notices on Friday morning....bet she doesn't  ;D

I think I will find other ways of donating to charity  ;D

I did that last year. We were in Spain and although I used my usual product and shade, I think the sun had made my hair porous and nstead of my usual blonde, it came out dark brown. I cried :'(

Like yours, my hubby didnt know what to say except "Can you wash it off?"

Took me some time to get my usual colour back.

Have you got any anti dandruff shampoo - its said that a few washes with that can strip some colour out.

Yes, head and shoulders here I come. I have been sitting in whatever little bit of sunshine we have had. My hair had gone very blond that's why I wanted to darken it down a bit...just not this much.

I feel like Cruella de Ville, all I need is the Dalmatians and I'm sorted.

Hopefully it will fade after a few washes HB! Know that feeling.  Lots of conditioner too. My disaster at about 16 took lots of washing & conditioning to get back to near natural colour.

Still very dark  :P but slightly better now I have styled it and got my makeup on.

Oh heck I hope it fades fast as I don't want to dye on top of dye quite yet.

Not my best attempt.....maybe a hat  ;D

Vosene is the one that strips the colour, according to my friend who did something similar and rang the helpline.

There are some shampoos which stylists won't colour on top of - a friend was advised to use baby shampoo for 3 weeks prior to colouring professionally.

Did you get the hat yet  ;D and has dog noticed  ;)

A good conditioner too!

I paid good money to get my hair coloured yesterday and it's horrible mouse brown instead of golden dark blonde  >:(  I go to the posh salon as they use dyes with fewer nasty chemicals - only dye I've ever used that doesn't make my head red and itchy afterwards..
Asked OH what he thought and he told me to go swimming without a cap  ;D

Could it be the time of year, i.e. the sudden sunshine in March/April?

Lots of gentle washing will lighten it  ;)
