What's your plans.....a wild party, the window cleaner or perhaps the milkman to be invited.
Or....
Feet up, dressing gown on, box of chocs and chill

Does that mean you are let loose in London Ju Ju on a free jolly? If so how fantabulous - I had a great time in Novemeber visiting my youngest son and daughter there! Hardly ever go!! If you mean he's let loose there and you are free at home then that's good too! My husband was away with eldest son all day Friday until yesterday afternoon and it was wonderful to have the house to myself for that length of time - a rare occurrence!!
Enjoy - whatever it is!

3 whole days wandering the streets of London, then meeting up for a meal in the evening. I start with the good intention of going somewhere educational, then end up walking miles, seeing landmarks, looking upwards at architecture, window shopping. I have to avoid long deep escalators, as I have a phobia of height and space. Makes life interesting!

Have fun Ju Ju. I really should go more often - only 40 minutes away by train - but never bother!

The hotel is about 1 1/2 hours way from home, depending on traffic. I love coming to London, but wouldn't want to live here or anywhere else busy. It takes nearly an hour to get into the centre of London on the bus, but the hotel is cheaper than those further in. It's near DHs conference and quite good, but oh dear the mattress this time is very hard and bouncy. Didn't sleep much, so a bit dopey, but never mind....London awaits!

I don't go into the centre much, but enjoy the buzz when I do. Love walking along the river and the City of London (when all the suits are indoors) is fascinating. Shame that the weather's changed but lots of nice coffee shops to pop in to.
Spanish friends just spent one full day here and they walked from Tower Hill to Kensington Gardens and back!
Have fun. Hope you've got comfy shoes!

I'm going to London in early July, for an organ-playing course and I'm looking forward to it even more now, thanks to this thread. It's nearly five hours by train from here, but never mind. On the course, we'll be visiting several organs in and around London, so there will be lots of variety. I'll be staying with my brother who lives in the SW of the city and he's promised me a meal out, one of the evenings I'm there. Not exactly sight-seeing or touristy (or indeed, "let loose"!), but at least I'll be getting the flavour (no pun intended!) of the place!

Before children, we used to spend lots of weekends in London. I loved it but I'm not good in crowds anymore. Last time we were in central London was 15 years ago, a week with the kids.
Enjoy Ju Ju....I thought your hubby had gone and you were left at home to play.....meno brain strikes again

Went to Stratford shopping centre......rain and the need to be near the loo. IBS strikes! Hopefully better tomorrow and the weather too so I can walk in the centre of London. I used my credit card just a little! Met up with DH at Liverpool st station and went to a la Tasca restaurant nearby, where I know I can eat safely.

Lots of loos......better than staying in the hotel! As it was Monday it wasn't too busy, but yes not my ideal choice of a day out.
