Hi, yes on vagifem, but i was so raw and imflammed for some reason, that i could feel the tablet up there, chaffing me as i walked..  but i have persevered, im hoping as i seem to have good days and bad days, that its one of those things that gradually improve over times, as the nerves settle. i guess thats why i was given the amitripyline.. Although i can still feel discomfort while im taking it, i dont want to increase the strength. but im feeling more comfortable gradually.  But im curious if i missed a dose, how much pain i would be in.. but to chicken to give it a try.. but tempted.. going back to the time this started,  i was using vagifem and this swelling and pain occurred, im still non the wiser why it happened.. all i can say is when i tried canasten to see if it was a thrush infection, that burnt like hell, that probably increased the imflammation and irritation.. so now if i think i might have thrush i will get the tablet.. iv never been that keen on taking tablets, so preferred the vaginal route, which i have used before no trouble at all.. doctors tend to treat for thrush here over the phone, oh you might have thrush, here get some tablets, oh you might have bv here takes some tablets.. without seeing you .. im not a fan of it .. i would like to be seen.. anyway non the less i feel like im improving, but got a long way to go, as its far from settled..  im hoping the vagifem will settle things eventually.. but i do have sensitive skin in general, my hands break out with liquid hand wash, and my skin has got thin. so maybe up there has been deteriorated up there as well. thank you for your comments and replies. i felt like someone was listening and helping,. thank you xxx

Hi
Did or are you inserting the tablet as high as you can?
Its supposed to go in as far as that small blue line click and count to 10 and withdraw gently
Dont I was yold by GP and Chemist put Vagfem and Thrush cream up the same day they interact.
Some ladies say its OK and maybe theres differing schools of thought?
If your in too much pain with Vagifem then you must go back to GP even stop till you see them?
Vagifem takes a while to work for me Feb I wanted to DIE my AV was so bad it had taken over my life
By April I felt so much better only the wee weeing mostly sex forget it By June wee weed stopped and
Lets just say by the September 2010 We made pain free love in Paris Rome Italy and England
Like any medication it takes time. The main thing Ive found over the years with ladies with newly AV
They think cos they arent told 2/3 days and heyyy well thats not true it takes time to right your V/wall
If you have Thrush maybe a Diflucan pill? Not for me I must admit If my waters not dead cloudy@yuk
I drink loads of lemon barley water for a day or so then if not improved I get antis caneston BURNS me
The Vagifem sticks to the wall of your Vaginal passage and helps to make it far smoother like it was
It helps with the burning eventually for most people. But your wise to keep questioning u know ur bpdy

Hi, thank you suzi q. yes im still using the vagifem... its seems to be easier to put it further inside, the more i use it.. but today im sore again. probably as i was at the gyne yesterday, and later decided to walk the dog...  the gyne says i have a prolapse on the bowel wall side, but that it shouldn bother me... i have avoided that area, and try and put the vagifem to the side,  as it seems to irritate if i place it there,. i seem well lubricated up there now. im supposed to use the vagifem every day for three months, but when i use it every day i think it irritates more..the gyne said it looked like the vagifem was doing it works, but i can have good days and bad. but  the throbbing pain im not sure what that is.. but lets see how it goes.. thank you for all your messages..

Hi Hellen
It takes time as Ive said its not a CURE its a managment regime
Maybe if you feel every night is too much why not try for say 8 days every other night?
It cant do you any harm at all and you will know pretty fast if you or the GP is right.
I know nothing about Prolapse etc Taz is the one to ask for that one shes brilliant can u PM her?
If  not address the post reply to TAZ shes got eyes like a HAWK she will reply to you.
I think you have to do 100 posts / replies before you can use P/Messaging?
Once its wet inside it should start to improve your bits they wont grow back sadly BUT
They will plump up some what that flappy sore feeling eases a lot. BUT it can take weeks to really ease
Throbbing pain  its hard to describe its as if pardon me but someones giving you a love bite on your bits
A suction feeling and ache not a PAIN if Id have had a actual pain id have gone to GP asap
I knew it was my Vagina@Fanny screaming for HORMONES with in days of Vagifem that feeling went.
So if it was me and only me Id e trying every other night just to see if youre right it cant hurt you x
