Does anyone get a shaky trembly feeling in the arms and hands? My hands are defo shaking more than ever and my arms feel weaker. Not sure if this is meno or not. Had a period recently after 3 months of no period and last fsh test showed im less menopausal than previously But still registering peri meno. So am a bit confused. If i have more 'normal' oestrogen levels due to period and fewer meno symptoms at mo, then why am i getting a bit shaky which i think can happen during more meno times. Does anyone get the same after a period? Wondering if im fluctuating hormone wise and this is making my hands shake a bit. I noticed it was quite bad in the one hand whilst drying my daughter's hair this morning but dont know if im reading too much into it. DH says we all shake and Im just focussing on mine too much. Any input greatly welcomed.
Thanks

Are you eating regularly? Sounds like low blood sugar.  DG x

I've had this in recent months, bouts not continuously, there could be other reasons for this, not alarming you, just that other conditions may be to blame, best see gp

I'm sure thyroid and B12 are some of those

Hello HorsesHorses.

I don't have shaking in my limbs but I have a quivery, trembling feeling in my body a lot of the time. It affects my heart, my stomach and my intestines. I find it very unnerving and I hate it. My trusty meno book mentions this as a common problem but describes the sensation as 'subtle' which it most definitely is not!

I am sure other ladies will be along soon but it sounds like a meno symptom to me.

Wishing you well.

Whether it's meno or not, make sure you are well hydrated and eating every 3 hours for the next 3/4 mnths!

I get this shaky hands HorsesHorses & I went to the doctor because I was so embarrassed by it, she prescribed Benign Essential Tremor:

She prescribed Propanolol & it helped a great deal. I occasionally still use them when I feel the need too - for me it all started at a time of great anxiety & stress.
