This ones unedited and straight from the heart
« on: April 13, 2015, 06:30:44 AM »

Woke up feeling very exhausted again. Stomach fine though. But have started ruminating about fears of going back to work. Have been off for a while and am terrified I'm not going to be able to cut the mustard and will have to go off again.

SallyG is this perhaps the time to start thinking ahead about maybe another job? One that won't cause you as much stress and won't have an arse of a boss.

Life is too short to have to support these sort of anxieties. Lots of hugs to you this morning xxx

Is there any way you can have a gradual return over a few weeks?

What does your work entail?  I can totally understand where you are coming from: I have to book holidays but each time I consider doing so, my gut lurches and the anxiety begins again  >:(

It is in Higher Education and I have worked in the sector for 20 years successfully, but being off and crashed out from untreated hormone depletion has knocked my confidence.
I feel vulnerable and a wee bit paranoid about returning.

Teaching then?  Could you go in for a chat with your Colleagues, I found that walking in for a short while eased the anxiety about the work-place itself.
