Emotional Freedom Technique
« on: March 29, 2015, 08:37:22 AM »

I found this today as I was reading up on anxiety and menopause.
I thought you lovely ladies might be interested in this technique as its something you can do anywhere, its free and adjustable to your needs.
Its a useful tool for anyone struggling with anxiety. I just tried it and loved it.
Apologies if this has already been posted.

Also found these coping statements for anxiety that may be helpful, maybe as a phrase to use for the EFT or just reassurance.

Just wanted to add my experience of this.

Took my daughter to someone who used this technique with her to help overcome her fear of dogs.  It has worked and no longer screams if she sees a dog and has been known to stroke some dogs as long as in her words "they are not jumpy".  Vast improvement.

This is definately worth a try.
