I do sometimes but it's when my tummy is off.

Have you done the usual stuff...dental check...drinking plenty of water.   Is your tummy ok ? GP check.....sinuses ok.

Some medications can cause alteration of taste, i.e. zinc or iron taste.  As can food stuck between teeth ……. a low grade sinus infection?

See the oral specialist.  Always better to get all possibilities covered.

If the medication doesn't 'suit' then ask your GP for something else, there are a lot of medications out there - ladies of a 'certain' age are well known for developing hiatus hernia …….. drop in oestrogen = laxity of muscles  ;)

So far I find that Rennies and other like-minded products help when I get heartburn and reflxu, usually because I take my medications too close to bed time!

Hi gina123

I don't think anyone has mentioned "pine mouth".

Do you eat pine nuts reguarly or have you gone through phases of eating them?

I had a period of time with a horrible taste, and yes it was bitter - and convinced I had something wrong with mouth or teeth, but when I googled it I found that some people get this after eating pine nuts - the ones that come from China apparently are a mix of types and some have this effect in some people.

I stopped the nuts (took 'em back to H&B!) and it disappeared after about a week or so.

I may be way off here but just in case....thought I'd mention it.
