Hair styles
« on: February 08, 2015, 04:04:22 PM »

My hair has got quite long as I had to keep cancelling my regular appointment due to mother being ill.

Time to get the mop tamed this week.

How do you wear your hair. Has it been the same for years. Any ideas for styles for the over 50s as I don't have a clue.

I always had long hair but 5 years ago I took the plunge and got a graduated Bob, (arched up at the back) love it, so much I've kept it since! Was thinking I should grow it for a wedding I've got in summer cause I saw a lovely hair up style. X

I would love to be styled but can't afford it. I have a trim every 5-6 weeks …..I vary which hairdressers I go too.

My hair dresser is mobile, she used to work in a big salon but left years ago and I followed her, don't know what I would do if she gave up, she does my girls hair too, she is young modern and excellent at what she does. It is a lot to pay out but that's my treat, although she is cheaper than a salon x

I have a home hairdresser too. So much easier. It's just trying to decide what to have done.....a trim or something radical.....but what if I don't like it.  ::)

Have a trip to a shop that sells wigs first - I did that years ago to make sure that really short hair suited my face!

I straighten my fringe and it does tend to wave a little ::)

It will suits anyone with small heart shape faces and most of all its easy.

:-\ doesn't show on my screen ……… my hair was almost as long as my waist for years, then I tried on the wigs before having it cut and permed.  My boss didn't recognise me, looked a bit like Crysal Tips  ;D ……… then it's been as long as my shoulders but curls up, coloured, cut short, coloured ……….. natural now and going lightly grey  ;)

I've never suited long hair, so my length is pretty much as it's always been - short-to-medium (certainly never below my shoulders).  I like lots of blended layers, the front brushed back, the back brushed under,  and I have a side-swept fringe.   I also get it coloured now, back to its original mahogany brown.  Oh, and my button earrings must always be visible!

It was on google images and I copied and pasted as I usually do, I can see it on my post.

I googled boyish crop with long full fringe and it came up with loads.

Its so annoying not being able to find the pic again.
