CLKD - S-- reality, that's not what I listen to the Archers for  ;D
At least they are starting to talk about the difficulties dairy farms are having - that's enough reality for me..........

Just listened to a week last Sundays we cant download till Monday am as we are 10hrs ahead
I cant do it Bobbles does and hes away so Friday night hes dowloading last Sundays
I dont think they will move. That guy whos buying the farm sounds like Simon someone
You know the actor? Will the farm shop have been defrauded. Will that child understand
That BOTH her parents were adulterers and know matter what the Dad has no right to bad mouth the mother to the other children. It seems the kid isnt hers anyway  a women in Birmingham is? OH Ive missed so much. As for the farm and selling 4 cows. Im sorry but listening since 1st January hes not a buisness farmer. Hes only delayed the inevitable.
I know farmers HAVE to be buisness men now adays but they always did.
I actually listened to it twice and it it funny how times moved on so much that its fine to be gay which it is xxxx BUt the women who has an affair is still in 2015 a Parai sorry hehehe

Glad you get enjoyment from the Archers - it jogged memories for me, in that when the theme tune came on I would cuddle up with my Dad whilst he listened, then it was bed-time once the programme had finished.  I think it was on for about 15 mins in those days  ::)

But Suzi, Kate IS Pheobe's biological mum. She dumped Pheebs on Roy and disappeared off somewhere, (South Africa eventually). The woman in Birmingham is Hayley who was married to Roy, and has been far more of a Mum to Pheobe than Kate ever was. However, Hayley got miffed at Roy having an encounter of the bodily type with his boss (Elizabeth) and went back to her mum in Birmingham.

AHHH now I see she wasnt her biological mum the lady in Birmingham she was her dads new /old wife
She Took on the role as Mother that why Pheobe called her MUM. So where did the other 2 kids come from?
If I remember right the archers Omnibus this was the mid 60s was on Sundays 930am to 1030am was it edited?
Or was it slightly shorter then? Id run like heck to Morning service starting at 11am
This Roy sounds a right bummer Ive only heard him once speak in the Pub when Kate called in with her uni pals.
But even in 2015 even though Roy married twice and had an affair kids from both marriages is the poor man.
Its Kate whos the badie doesnt sit well with me. Stereotypical wonder if the writers a man?
Today Dads been dead 6 weeks cant believe it in just over 6 weeks ago we flew to UK saw Dad then he died.
Did everything bla bla hd the funeral saw him buiried with Mum and John 6 days after the cremation stayed on.
Had lawyers solicitors loan companies SANTAN blasted der bla bla and have been home 2 weeks. unbeleivable.
Time goes so fast hit me today as Geoffreys been away and letters came from the UK tax dept commiserating
Then saying they had to look in to seeing if Dad owed Tax good luck to them Id also before they could??? I was in th middle of booking some trips in Venice with skip the line tours.
TIP anyone going to Europe and wanting to see the sights this spring or summer book online those trips
To the Louvre or Vatican or S/chape; pr Coleseum they cost a few Euros more but!!! while everyone else is standing in line for 1hr or so YOU walk right in its so worth it Just click on skip the line tours amazing
I booked today a 1940s boat the one that Goerge Clooney and his wife went on  to the reception well not the exact one but the same looking one with a night ride round the canals with champers and snacks 2hrs 40E each
Plus the tours are fully refundable and boy when its 30C standing in line to go up the Eifel Tower its not funny
We just walked past everyone hehehehe. But doing all that knowing we are coming back in less than 8 weeks!
All the emotions hit craparoonie. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Roy & Kate were never married. Kate got pregnant and didn't want to keep Pheobe. Roy looked after her from early on.

Roy only had the 1 affair, the 1 that caused all the mayhem. Kate has had several affairs, last year when Pheobe went to South Africa Kate upset Pheobe by having an affair and not trying to hide it.

Roy is a bit of a pillock but I don't think Kate is a particularly nice person. Mind you my judgement might be coloured by the fact that my mum screwed around as well, oh, and dumped me and my brother on my dad.   ::)

Limpy listened today to a week last Sundays Omnibus tomorrow I will listen to the one from this Sunday.
Sounds like the chap moving is having second and third thoughts.
The lad who sold the cows is decamping and giving up farming and is buying a tractor for free lance work.
The lady whos hubbie ran off has moved in with her sister trouble brewing there!
OK the lady who owns the organic shop  remember I cant remember the names yet and dont know background
But it seems to me her hubbie is trying to control her make her stay home be wifey and MUM
Well in the Omnibus I heard today she found out the shop was in trouble with the health dept.
All her husband could do is moan Its as if he wants her to himself at home he wanted to know where she was.
What she was doing had a moodie cos he had to pick son up from nursery@have pizza for tea is he controling?
Phebes went to see her Dad gave him a card and he bad mouthed her MUM when he found out she was staying.
They sound a right pair but of course Daddies girl but shes so rude If Id have spoken the way she does
Id have been smacked in to the middle of next week. Some how I dont think its a good storyline a kid being that
Cheeky rude and just plain nasty. I felt sorry for her not NOW if she was mine shed be given  good talking too.

Probably your ideas are different but my MUM was no saint either She had a romantic liason when I was 13
She involved me telling me all about it like a teenager then making me swear to secrecy. There was no sex.
It was romantic dinners with her Boss drives to LANGOLLEN she got found out Mum@Dad should have ended it
Theyd have been happier apart Mum would have grown up as would Dad but he wanted a quiet life so all forgiven
BUT it was never the same thats if there ever was anything? The women Dad was with  for the last 23 years
No doughting beyond a shadow of dought he loved her more than hed ever loved MUM
He gave up everything . His family brother grandchildren son daughter it was an all consuming love@61/85.
I think thats whats hard to swallow just how much he loved her so much so he almost disowned his own children
He did ignore his grandaughter who lived 5mind away thats sad as her Dad my Dads son died when she was 14.

Yet another letter came today from home this time from the Cremetorium asking if I wanted a niche?
I rang them said NO Dads ashes were buiried in a cemetary great letter really nice but not what I needed today!
Bobbles was away all last week He rang from work today said he had to go away again  on wed to friday.
GFC hit here mid 2013 before that we thought wed escaped it. ITS bad Bobbles is a InterNational sales engineer.
So its down to him to get the BIG work engineering jobs overseas etc. So in a way Im happy hes having a holiday
He needs one after all he did for me in Wallasey I was worried about him when we got back he looked awful.
Today son got him for his birthday in March tickets to see Liverpool play here in Ozz in July he was thrilled to bits
Dad and son off to watch the MATCH both mad Liverpool fans in fact my grandson was brought out of hospital
In full new born baby Liverpool kit yeppp I know dead sad heheheheh.

Suzi - Don't know whether you want more regular Archers updates but the site below often has written episode "Catch Ups" - this can be quite helpful if you want a more frequent update.
http://www.lowfield.co.uk/archers/

There is also a forum which discusses the Archers - quite useful for finding out what has happened if the lowfield site isn't updated.
http://www.paranormal.org.uk/mustardland/viewforum.php?f=1

Hope things improve for Bobbles at work, but he should really perk up when they see Liverpool in March.
I've always supported Liverpool,  my brother Everton, I could never understand why.....   ???
