Hello Honeybun.

I'm glad to hear that your Mum is responding so hopefully she's over the worst.

Best wishes and take care of yourself.

Look forward to the up-date in the morning - is  it 'your' day and did you stay over-night?

Not a great deal of change today. She now has a head cold and her cough is dry instead of loose. Not sure that is good or not.

Sis is there and I will do tomorrow.

I have hit a great big dip. I think it's all just come and is a bit much to cope with. I started to relax last night and then felt really unwell for a while. Very washed out today and could cry at the drop of a hat. My son is visiting and forgive me but I just can't be bothered putting on a happy face. It's a bit beyond me at the moment.
Need a kick up the bum and just get on with things.

Ah bless you honeybun, its hard to put a brave face on all the time. I think your body is telling you to take it easy and have some time recuperating yourself. Am sure your son understands. Have a good blub, then stick the kettle on, have a cuppa and some Christmas chocolate and know that others are thinking of you xxx :bighug:

No you don't! You have had a very stressful few months - your husband, your Mum, Christmas etc. Sounds as though you need to sit down for a bit and get your energy back. Impossible to do at the moment I know but in a few weeks when your Mum has recovered and hopefully your husband will be a bit better, it may be worthwhile to think about going away for a few days just to recuperate. You have been an absolute brick over the last wee while. Congratulate yourself and sit down when you can. Housework etc can wait a few days (or weeks!) to be done. Do the bare minimum in your house for the next week or so to give yourself a break.

Take care and look after yourself,

Honeyb - You've had a massive amount on you plate recently. You must be absolutely k-------ed - not surprised you feel like crying. Hope you feel better soon

Oh and not forgetting your mum - hope she improves

Not surprised you've hit a big dip. You've been all things to all people for some considerable time & just when you thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel, boom you're hit with this.

You need to take care of you too! Be kind to yourself HB, CG's orders.  :)

Thank you all for your kind words.

I think I'm not alone in thinking I should be able to do everything and cope with the lot. It would seem that my body is saying something completely different.
Sure I will feel better tomorrow, but no matter how I feel I have to go do my nurse bit  ::)

CLKD, he is just hauling himself to the end of his treatment. I'm a bit on my own here at the moment as he has his own troubles.

It's got to get better soon....hasn't it   :-\
