What music do you chill out to?

Radio 3 used to have a jazz programme at about 4pm on Saturday afternoons, until they removed it to late at night.  I was distraught  :'(  when they did that because I loved listening to it in the car, coming home from doing the weekend shopping.  It really helped me wind down and forget those horrible, crowded aisles and busy check-outs.   

I love chilling out to gentle, cool jazz...............what sort of music do you like to chill out to?

How rude of them to move your programme!!
I chill out walking across fields and woodland with my DH, knit, and listen to Tibettan singing bowls if I really need to wind down.

Classic FM mainly, but also like jazz (all types) and Cuban in particular.

I like loud stuff.....sorry  ;D

Most things by Queen, Some Rolling Stones, and a bit of anything loud that I can sing along to. Oh and Joe Cocker.

Got some new CDs at Christmas. One in particular by London Grammar is really good. Daughter recommended it. She plays it after a 12 hour shift, as she drives home, to help her wind down.

Do you like Thelonius Monk Dulciana ?  I'm not into jazz but have listened to him - it makes me laugh - to me he sounds like the Les Dawson of jazz.

I use to play this CD while I was giving a client an aromatherapy massage or Indian Head massage, they loved it and said it relaxed them. It was favourite at college too.

On here & listening to that music silverlady. Bliss! Hubby watching some documentary on Caligula whilst I chill.
