You must be relieved and happy now you know your heart is just fine.

I think....and it's just my opinion that you need to address your anxiety issues now you know there is nothing wrong with your heart.

A lot of us thought you were just anxious so although anxiety is not great it's not life threatening in any way.

Onwards and upwards and now you know things will be so much easier now you have no health issues.

Hi karenja

Well done - good news.....and hopefully your full blood count will also be normal - keep us posted when you get the results!

So glad everything was ok.  Anxiety is awful, all the symptoms feel so real.

Hi Honeybun

On the whole Im ok I still get anxiety, tight chest etc and don't know how Im going to be one day to another, I also still get fainty feelings, Ive had full blood count test today and waiting for results but I don't know what that will show.

The cardiologist said my heart was fine, he thinks the tightness may be muscular and the pains anxiety, he will send a report to the doctor suggesting a few things?? and has prescribed calcium betablockers as you can take them with asthma apparently, they should help with the palpatations and I may only have to take them a few weeks and they may help me, so picking them up tomorrow and whilst I hating taking tablets I may give them a try, but all in all Im glad I went for the reassurance, as I do really worry what affect this anxiety is having on my body, escpecially my heart as I do think Im having a heart attack on times,xx

Hi karenja
So glad your test came back fine. I know it probably won't help you much as anxiety does that, but when these attacks happen you can always remind yourself your heart is fine and this will pass. If your blood count is low then you will get iron which will help with fatigue and maybe help you feel better in general. Glad they have you something for palps just and they will help, happy for you x
