Well yes two holiday apartments (in a converted former old pub/hotel) in a small village overlooking the sea....

Sounds complicated getting_old - so you've moved house recently but you have a holiday home somewhere else that isn't furnished yet?

You win Linsey - we'll be back before you go - sounds lovely! Will it be sunny and warm in Cyprus then?

Oooh - walks along the beach on Christmas Day, then cosy fires in the evening - sounds wonderful.

Not quite - we're in the process of having a holiday home built (our choice) which should be completed in the next few weeks, and buying a place locally (not our choice!) which we should be moving into the week before Christmas. I'll need a holiday to recover!!!

Been away from the forum for a while - but can I add my holidays that I've HAD this year?  :D
(The hols seem like a long time ago now though......) We had a week in the Florida Everglades/on Gulf Coast, then 2 weeks at Walt Disney World in the summer, and had a week in Egypt - just the week before the jet came down ( :'( )

Dazned - universal area paphos.

Hurdity - weather could be a mixed bag, nice days / wet days.  Last new year was torrential rain for 3  weeks.  Still better than being in uk as there are good places to go and eat / have a drink in the bars or hotels etc.

Looking forward to it.

Hope you all have a great time,

Hurdity - SNAP we are off to Cornwall as well, but for New Year.  We are going to Nanstallan near Bodmin, a nice cosy cottage with a real log fire

I have one set of clothing, washing kit, towels, T-bags, sugar, in the camper van, the rest in the house.  Ready to take.  I can now pack within 30 mins. in an emergency  ::)
