Maybe your hubby could book the next holiday then not tell you until the day before?

You generally do fine when you get there CLKD. Remember Scotland last year....you loved it.
Keep telling yourself that as you pack your thermals  ::)

My son has been in Brighton this week at a conference and is now in London with a friend. The confidence of the young.

I'd forgotten what it felt like being young  ::)

There was one time when I was around 30, OH and I were in a Chinese restaurant using a payphone to book a skiing trip - leaving at 5am the next morning!  :o

No way I could do that now - For so many reasons  ::)

Oh just getting up and going. Hubby and I used to do some great road trips, just on the spur of the moment with no idea of where we would stay  ::)

My son has met up with a uni "friend",  I use the term sort of loosely as this young women may well become my daughter in law. They made a pact years ago if neither of them had met anyone by the time they were 30 then they would get married to each other. I have never been sure how serious they are......and they are 27 next year  :o

We are talking....well I don't actually know what we are talking about...but not children.
It had been a long distance relationship lots of times and it hadn't worked, but I fully expect him to come home and announce....something  ;D

Forming a list in my head regarding our trip to Brighton on Sunday.  Busy until then - dentist, fishing, antique fair.  Away until Wed., busy on the Thursday with a big meeting followed by Mum [89 soon] asking us to visit on the Friday for a few days  :o - so I need to put on one side clothing that we will need to visit with Mum ….. meds. ordered to be collected 2-morrow, hope that they will be 'in'.  Need to buy more Karvol …….. and sort meds to take away for the 2 trips.  I think a list is required!
