We go to paphos quite a lot, stay in universal area. We live in the country at home and need the car to go anywhere so we like the fact we can walk to either harbour area or up to the old town.

I was there at new year and it was dreadful got a photo of hailstones sitting on the outdoor furniture. went back in feb and it mostly rained just at night time which was good.

Enjoy your holiday the temp seems to steady around 20/22 most days, perfect for walking about.

We will have a car as out of the way a bit,got a villa out by the Sea caves. We go every year at this time. We got married at St.Paul pillar church if you know it ,behind Debenhams. Yes it should be warm ,don't do real heat. First time of having a villa so Glad we not in hotel this time as had a rough patch of late so if I don't feel like being around people I don't have to,likewise with eating.Do you always stay in same area? Where do you like to eat out ?

Hi we bought our own place in universal just over a year ago. Like you we were fed up of hotels and wanted to set up a base there for future plans.

I know st pauls pillar, we often walk thru there en route to the harbour etc.  Our favourite bar is at lido area is called Alea bar very chilled, great staff, drinks and cafe bar food.

In the old town we like Boulevard Bistro as it great for watching locals driving about the girl that is always there is so nice and the food is presented really well.  For fantastic food and views over the whole of Paphos you cant beat Muse. 

As for restaurants we like Almond Tree we spent new years eve there and had a fab night. Also Zaza which is up a side street near alexander the great hotel the food is good and the couple who own it are very pleasant.

Oh all this talk makes me wNt to go back now. Lol

Oh dear! Flight is 10 am but still have to get up at 5 and leave at 6 as we are two hours from the airport! Not too bad really!

Zazas is our favourite restaurant too ,how spooky !
We also go to the Windmill just behind St. Paul's,traditional family owned ,try it if you get the chance. We have been going for 15 years,we too could have bought a place by now ! 
Not sure where Universal area is ?
As we will be out by Sea caves we will be trying out some new restaurants up that end as well as our favourite s . There is also a lovely restaurant by Adonis waterfalls,all you can hear is goat bells it's so peaceful in the mountains.

Will try windmill dazned, we are going back mid june for 4wks.  Was told that windmill is good.  Universal is an area in kato paphos.

Have a great time , never been to pegia.  Let me know all the good places to eat that you find.
