CLKD - It will be nice to go back North again.
That's probably enough to be thinking about for now.

Yasmine Hammamet has some good hotels, we use the Iberostar Averroes (right on the beach) or the Belisaire across the road. Cheap and if you go out of school holidays they shouldn't be too overrun.

Croatia is one of my favourites, but the money just doesn't go as far.

Have you considered Bulgaria at all? We've been skiing there last week and it was so cheap! For summer resorts I'd suggest Nessebar or Sozopol, there are some good, all inclusive hotels available.

GG x

Many thanks for the info GG, I shall do a bit of searching over the coming weeks.

We are due to go to on our holiday in 5 weeks time been trying not to think about it.

God hope I feel more settled than I have been  :-\
It doesn't bare thinking about ,keep trying to rationalize it by saying might as well be in the sun as here ,at least will be with my DH every day so that's a positive  :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy it dazned - nothing like being able to relax for making everything seem rosier - and think of all that vitamin D too!

Now you mention it have just looked at the date and realised that we are going away in just over 5 weeks too, so getting excited at the very thought  :)

If it makes you feel any better I still (even at my age!) always worry about going away even though I want to, but always love it once I'm away  :)

Sounds lovely - we're going to Spain sort of East in the mountains near Alicante I think - a walking holiday (self-guided) hoping to see lots of wild flowers and interesting birds!

I recognise that feeling  :)
I travel widely and yet there's definitely no place like home. Even more so in spring time, I'm sat working whilst looking out onto the crocuses and snow drops coming through and the sun trying to poke through. England really is quite pretty.
