They are fun, CLKD! Everyone hopes they stand up well alongside the others, but friendships can be made on these courses so it becomes a bit of a holiday too.

Love it Dulciana
Here's another one that reminds me of late sixties early seventies France

Hopefully, we will stay with my son and his wife in the USA this summer. She's expecting a baby in July. Before then, it would be nice to have a weekend away at least to make up for messing up our holiday last year by being ill. Not sure what or where or even if we can afford it. We do have a few days in London in May as my husband is going on a course and I am let loose, walking, retail therapy......

Got two holidays booked already
A week in April and a fortnight in September - both to our favourite place, Fuerteventura. Staying in two different villas, the April one is the same one we stayed in last year but the September one is a new one for us - looks lovely though and has a very private garden and pool, good for the "all-over tan"

Think we might give up on Guernsey, too much hassle to get there & expensive. Could do a week abroad for less. Now looking at self catering in Scotland.

The last thing we did on New Years Eve before switching off the computer was book flights to Orlando.
As both our kids are getting to the age they don't want to come on holiday with us anymore we thought we'd push the boat out one last time and do the whole Disney and Universal theme park holiday. We've done it before and I can't wait to go.
Just got to book a villa, car and park tickets.

Ooh how exciting Galadriel, I love Orlando. Liked Islands of Adventure the most. When do you go?

We rented a cottage : "Kilimanjaro" : 9 years ago, not far from Dornie. Quiet. Comfortable. Over-looking Loch Long
- not far from the Isle of Skye and Plockton.

Hoping to book one holiday this week.
Also hoping to get a caravan weekend/short break when hubby is feeling better. I think he deserves a wee treat away. Just him and me and the dog.
