Morning

Can anyone tell me the regime Proff Studd uses??

I know he was a fan of 4 pumps of Oestrogel with 7 days Northisterone. I believe he now uses Utrogesteron but not sure how much/how long he prescribes???

Anyone out there know the answer?

You can check out his website - just google Prof Studd.  It's a good site and gives some great info.  His current favourite regime seems to be 2 pumps of Oestrogel with 7 days of Utrogestan. You wouldn't normally get this on the NHS as one would probably need to have the womb lining checked regularly, due to the low amount of progesterone used, and the NHS won't fund this.  If you want to use 4 pumps of Oestrogel per day I think you would need to use more Utrogestan(high dose for more days per month) to keep the womb lining thin.

Just to add that norethisterone is a much more powerful progestogen (in protecting the womb lining) than Utrogestan ie progesterone, which is why I imagine a closer eye on the uterus lining should be kept on the gel/Utrogestan regime.
