Taking Everol Sequi Patch off feeling awful will estrogen help?
« on: October 30, 2014, 07:20:42 PM »

Hi, after being on Evorel Sequi for nearly three months apart from three days Ive had to take the patch off (conti) as been feeling spaced out/fainty just awful, even since I took it off yesterday afternoon, still spaced out today I didn't even hear my phone ringing on my desk in work or everybody calling me as they all did, tonight I just feel weird, my femseven patches have arrived, do you think putting one on and getting just estrogen only (which Im normally ok on) will help, feel so stressed, chest all tight, femseven are all new to me but the estogen is the same and progesterone (the problem causer with me) doesn't seem as strong)  :'(

Hi Hurdity, still feeling weird off and on, I don't understand why as was on everol three months so already had two months on progesterone with them and wasn't as bad as this time, on femseven sequi now estogen but should feel ok now (I hoped) but still not great, hoping it will settle down, femseven don't stick as well as evorel and I have to keep it on a week before I change it could be difficult, am I able to use a plaster or something to help keep it in place or will this interfere with what its doing? x also still no bleed, Im not sure Im happy with this (good in one way but what about the thickening of the womb lining? )x

Hi karenja

Other members have suggested ways of getting Femseven to stick - you have to be careful when sticking them down with tape, because it is the entire patch in contact with the skin that allows the hormones to be released and if you stick something over it, you may not notice it coming unstuck beneath the extra tape - if you see what I mean.

Important to do the whole flat warm palm thing for 30 secs when you first put it on. I have a feel of mine fairly regularly (!) to make sure it's still stuck - eg on trips to the loo! Also make sure it's put on somewhere it doesn't rub - although I expect you know that from the Evorel.

If you are not bleeding it means that there is insufficient lining built up to shed. Some women do not bleed on a sequi regime.

Hurdity x  :)
