Need some kind words. Sorry to be needy but I'm on my holidays and doing this from my phone.
Having a bit of a minny melt down. Anxiety through the roof, shaky and just horrible. Can't tell anyone as the kids are with us and I don't want to spoil things.
Realy need a hug or something. Just want to go home or cry or both. Been so looking forward to this.
Feel so bloody feeble
Honeyb. Who is in a right old mess

Feel like a good cry. Just can't find anywhere to go. Big house but no privacy. Family waiting to go out. So I'm just going to have to get on with it. Not Sure how. Hubby keeps giving me funny looks so he susprcts all is not good. Didn't sleep last night so that doesn't help

You are out of your comfort zone but you are with your family - hang on to that last bit.
You have probably done all the planning for this so deserve to relax and enjoy yourself - take it moment by moment and go with the flow that your children or husband may be leading now.
I got like this on one family holiday we had - i had done most of the organising for it but not so good when it came to actually doing it. I let my children and husband take more of a lead and followed behind but did some different things because of it - i was ok as the week went on.
Take care

Oh dear sorry to hear this. You probably built yourself up so much prior to going away that as soon as you arrive, melt down begins. I'm a bit like this on hols and it takes a while to adjust. Could you not spend a quiet few hours alone until you settle down. Alternatively you may find once you are out doing stuff the anxiety will lift. Whatever you decide hope you feel better soon and enjoy your holiday and precious time with your special people.

This will pass. Hold your hubby's hand, take some deep breaths and try to relax - I know it's hard (I had the same) xxx

Oh HB, are you worried about your mum? Your sister will be able to cope with things you know. Cry in shower/bath if you need to, nobody will be any the wiser. That's where I do my crying.
Breath, concentrate on your breathing most of all. I have a handy app which helps when I'm bad, slows breathing right down. It's called the SAMapp. Maybe try & download it.

Hi HB
Anxiety is always worse away from home, I think you feel under pressure to have fun and it all backfires
Sending you a hug, know how you feel
Go and tell your husband you need a cuddle.

Go stand or walk in the fresh air and breathe it in, look at the lovely sky and your lovely family and remember that despite how it feels, you are safe and it will pass.
Slow breathes help also. Its a big boat and we are all in it with you xx

Oh thanks all. Feeling a bit better. Just been sitting relaxing and drinking tea. Admitted to hubby I was struggling and he has been great. Don't know what happened this morning but it was an extra long panic attack. Difficult to deal with away from home. Yes a bit worried about mum and guilty about leaving it all to my sister. Kids have gone now so less pressure to try and make sure everyone is having fun. Lit the log fire and nice and cosy and happy to stay in this afternoon. Not even bothering too much with dinner.
Thank you all so much as I was in a mess and reading the encouragement really helped
