It's what my hubby calls me
.
I also had a pet called Honey. I love some of the names on the forum. Some make me laugh as they are so inventive.
I think most of us have a reason for our forum name.
Great topic and I cant wait to read the answers.

Mine used to be hubby's pet name for me but I decided to change it. Love Cuba, hence cubagirl. Kinda obvious, but hey ho.

My first MM name was ladyjane, my mums pet name for me, then it was Rowan ( Celtic symbol for protection) then I settled on silverlady as my hair is white blonde on
and off

When I first registered the PC and or internet were being obstructive.
Lots of names were rejected, finally I tried the name of a thick, slightly damaged, pheasant that visited us where we used to live. Given that was the only name accepted and my legs do go a bit independent, Limpy it was, also has the advantage of being short.

Hello Hattie.
I use the name of one of my Aunts. I was too young to know about her menopause experience but as an older woman she always seemed content so I hope that is a good omen.
Take care.

When I was browsing the forum I loved a lot of the names, they were so clever. When I decided to join I racked my brains for a clever and unusual name but couldn't think of anything so just used my childhood nickname. I was 5 when the film came out and after that my family kept on saying 'whatever happened to you', it got boring after a while.
Since registering I have thought of several better ones especially ones from my favourite - under milk wood

You can change if you like babyjane. Many of us have. What do you fancy?

Mine is the name of the sheltered housing complex where my late Mum spent her last few years. Every time I use it I can see her sitting in her favourite chair crocheting one of the colourful blankets she was always making for the local hospice.

That's lovely Thorntrees. My late, much loved cat was called Catdude so it's in memory of him.

that's a really nice tribute to your mum thorntrees, and a lovely name.
Cubagirl wouldn't it cause confusion? I rather fancy Myfanwy after Myfanwy Price in UMW . I guess I could change it to 'Myfanwy (was babyjane)' and then take out the bj after a while. What do you think and how do I do it?

Go into your profile & change there if you want. Just post in this one that you've changed. When I changed I just posted what I'd done, but you don't have to.
