I used it all the time when the pain was very bad.  I now use it occasionally when it flares up although it has never been as bad again.  It immediately kills the pain.  I dont use hrt as had a thrombosis so cant.  I am incredibly grateful to my doctor for prescribing this as I know it is unusual.  I would like more women to know it exists.

Hi Maryjane
I haven't been on this forum before but I think we are seeing the same physio and she suggested I look for you on here so I hope that's OK!
Your symptoms and treatment sound very like mine and I think I've been told the same thing as you by the specialist I've just seen. ( same one again I think ) All a complete surprise to me and now on antibiotics. Before seeing physios been told it's PN or PNE and I have been reading posts on the pelvic pain support network healthunlocked forum investigating decompression surgery. I noticed a Maryjane on there too and wondered if you are the same person?
I really hope the antibiotic treatment is helping you. I so want this to be the start of a cure for me or I will really be wondering about having an assessment in France with the specialist PN team, as a last resort
By the way...Is there any way of doing private messaging or is this a completely open forum?

Hi Anna 24, yes the physio I see knows I a, on here so we are I think talking about the same lady.

No the other Mary Jane is NOT me on that other forum. I am setting the wheels in motion to go to France so that I have turned over every stone.

There are two others on here who are heading in the same direction, it does not mean that we are going to have surgery, but he is the top man in Europe if not the world as he was I belive the first to discover what was happeneing with the PN.

I will message you and give you my e-mail that I just use for this problem, as there are a few of us who keep each other going, and I find it very therapeutic trying to help others, takes my mind off my own troubles. Are you 24 of so that's very sad, as it is a horrid condition but I feel even worse for the young, the other Maryjane is only 22. >:(
