Grandson moments.
« on: May 19, 2014, 09:10:23 AM »

:) I was applying suncream onto my 20 month old grandsons legs this morning, singing away as I did it, when he said, " Hello lovely Grandma". Made my day already.

They're so sweet at that age.

Shame they have to grow up to the size and attitude my son is at - a testosterone-fuelled monster!

My 7 year old granddaughter was asking me if I thought she would ever marry. I said that I thought she would and asked her if I would be invited to which she replied "you can if you're
not dead".

;D Don't you just love them, maybe we should start a new thread - Funny things kids say and do then we can make it into a book!  Any budding authors out there??

Good idea!

I drove him home in my little car, where he has to sit in the front. No room in the boot! He hasn't been in my car much, so there was great excitement. It was " Grandma's car " all the way and " Weeeeeee" round every bend. Plenty of those round where we live. I love Mondays! My day for childminding. Being a grandparent is great, as you can devote the time you have with them without the pressures you have as a parent.
