Alternative patch to Oestrodot- recommendations?
« on: May 18, 2014, 06:58:53 AM »

Hi,

As I cannot get oestrodot due to manufacturing issues, could anyone recommend another 50mcg patch instead?
I've used Femseven before but they are useless at staying on!
In the info on this site, Estraderm MX and Progynova TS are mentioned - has anyone got experience of using them?
Thanks, :)

I can't help here but if you want to see what size they are, then google the name of the product and "spc" and you'll come up with the summary of product characteristics for each one. Near the top it should tell you the size of the patch itself!

See if GP prepared to give you 25 mcg ones, for now & you could double up. There must be lots of ladies in same position.  If not ask for oestrogel. Gel would be good standby for the future.

Thanks Hurdity.

Cuba girl - yes I have the gel but not sure it's as effective for me as the patches are as I'm getting weepy again already....esp as I'm not completely sure how many pumps equate to 50mcg!
