Thank you so much for the advice, I will order the book. Where does Dr Lovegrove Jones practice from? I live in London.

Southampton. It is a five hour round trip for me to see her, plus the one and a half hours of physio.  The consultant recommended starting off with physio, if you don't have VA , and you have had all the tests you have had she is equally qualified to diagnose there are many conditions in the pelvic area that can cause this pain.

Whatever it is the sooner, it is treated the better the chances. A burning vagina really can take over your mind.

Yes oil" based cream is very soothing for the outer parts, I put it on after every pee.

My pelvic floor is like a lump of wood, as told by all the docs and physio. X

Thank you, I'll get some of the cream tomorrow. I never thought my whole life would revolve around the state of my vagina. I haven't been able to go to work this week and that is causing a huge amount of stress on top of the pain. xx

Ruth, docs everyone will tell you nerve pain is worse when you are stressed, deep breathing and meditation will help also, it is a battle of the wills vagina /head. I work for myself, I wouldn't of been able to carry on with work, as sitting was so painful, it is getting better now though.

Get the beans in the freezer, I haven't eaten any since Christmas ( it's put me off them)I will be using something called a wizard -ez ? It's a glass bendy thing, that can go in the fridge/warm water and is used for internal trigger point therapy, I will be shown how to use this on Monday.

I also lost a stone in weight from the pain and feeling sick all the time, I also live in jogging bottoms used to love wearing jeans. Feel free to pm me if you want anymore info.x

I have already put a tin in the fridge ready for tonight  :). I have lost over half a stone in the last ten days - I can now fit into my jeans but cannot bear to wear them! I am not sure how I send you a pm....
