Great

Recently moved to single life...just a month ago.

Today washing machine springs a leak.......so this able lady who tries to be..... sources new parts on tinternet and needs a guy or gal to fit the part for me.

After all I am a nurse made to save lives not fix the washing machine lol

Hope you find him/her. Nursing is a tough enough job without DIY.

Hi Cubagirl

Thanks, have many offers but all guys who then want to go out with me.......Nah not for me just yet.

Nursing is tough yes, I work with vulnerable children, love it but goodness it is stressful.

Hugs

When I lived alone, workmen always seemed to come onto you or try to do a duff job.. if they could get away with it.

Age UK have a list in some areas of 'suitable' trades people  ;) or ask in your village shop?

Why do they need to know you live alone, tell them that your son/brother/partner/husband is around 'somewhere'  ::)

Living in a small area I know most of them, or their children or better still their wives  ;D
Have to say my hubby does most of that kind of stuff. He is very handy for some things.
