Hi ladies, I am 42 and I am sure I am going through the menopause. No period for 13 months then bled for 4 months. Now 5 months without. I am having terrible hot flashes but the worst is my total lack of memory and awful mood swings. I have had every test going so nothing sinister going on but my bloods keep coming back normal. Apparently the hormone that goes round my body is fine but the one that sends the message from brain to ovaries is slightly high but not consistently. The doctor has basically told me I am not menopausal so there is nothing they can do. I don't know what to do now? Can't stop crying I'm so fed up - any ideas/advice would be much appreciated and sorry for the long post! X
