If you still have it, put it back on. Hold your hand over it to get it to stick back on.
This happened to me last week and it worked

Just ask for prescription a bit early. You should be fine. My prescriptions used to be monthly too for HRT, but managed to get GP to give me them every two months. Nobody has ever queried it if I ask a bit early.

Just happened to me. First patch I have ever put on. Now I keep checking to see if the new one is there. Is there an art to putting these things on? 8)

Is it Femseven Anjia? They are really bad at sticking. Evorel stick wonderfully though. It is worth following the instructions to the letter especially the part about holding the patch in place firmly with a warm palm for however long it is in order to activate the adhesive.  Sometimes if the patch comes off in the bath or the shower you can leave it to dry and then reapply it. It wont stick when wet.

The same thing has been happening to me  :( and I had to get a clear adhesive plaster to keep the darn thing on! Have been told to put it on upper thigh. Is this the best place to place the patch? Any ideas, welcome.

Taz the patch is ellestte solo It is bigger than I thought it would be I don't like using them but they are much better than the tablet for me, as the tablet give a bad irritable bowl.

Hiya

I asked my GP this question when I started using the patch a few months ago and she said if the patch comes off replace it with a new one and then change the new patch on the day you would normally change it.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi ladies

Yes evorel patches are wonderful they need prising off  yes femseven are known for lack of adhesive and remember that's where the hormones are around the edge of patch so if it ever comes off replace it with a new one I wouldn't bother about trying to stick it back as you don't know how the hormones have been affected on the patch  try putting it around the hip area or on side of cheek but care with undies and clothing don't catch it and make sure it is not put on over creases of skin if can help it that won't help sticking  I prefer patches because can't take tablets

Good luck

Hi there

Estradot patches are very very small compared to the other patches so less to come unstuck. I stick them to my bum cheeks - well out of the way of knicker elastic or the low waisted jeans I wear most of the time. Also so they can't be seen in summer swimming or sunbathing or wearing short shorts! Rubbing will make them come unstuck. Also they can come unstuck in hot weather.

The docs really need to prescribe more because of this - 1 month's supply at a time is not sufficient!

I agree for the large patches a clear plaster over the top might not be such a good idea - only because if it comes unstuck under the plaster - you wouldn't be able to feel it and then your hormone levels will decline.

You get into the habit of having a feel every now and again - to make sure it's still there - takes a bit of getting used to - but for me it's just habit now!

Thanks Hurdity, as a newbie to patches, I was at a loss. I was given a few Estradot patches by the gynaecologist, without instructions and will be seeing my GP next week. Good advice. Next time on my bum!
