Today's the day, starting HRT
« on: March 08, 2014, 09:40:33 AM »

Well I've had the Everol Sequi patches for a week, waiting for the right time to start using them. As my periods are so erratic, I decided that as I've had a slightly off colour discharge the last couple of days (last proper period was early Jan) I could class that as my period and go ahead with the therapy.

Must admit that my symptoms did abate slightly over the last 2 weeks, making me question whether I did actually need HRT. But I think I forgot how bad it can make me feel and the symptoms are back. My fingers, wrists elbows and shoulders are really sore, I've had 2 nights of insomnia and night flushing, my gums are burning and my head is stuffed full of cotton wool.  :-\

Really hoping to get some improvement. So, here goes, first patch just being slapped on my buttock now.   :) Will keep you posted how things are.

Well done and hope you will soon reap the benefits and your aches and pains disappear. Cotton wool head is the pits!
