I always remember when I was young and went to a friends house and a few of us watched The Exorcist,got home in the dark to find my mum wasn't in and I sat on the front wall and waited for her, I was too scared to go into her big old house by myself

Sherlock Holmes definitely and any Hercule Poirot film.
The Exorcist still scares the shxx out of me.

. at aged about 8 I remember watching Sherlock Holmes where they all sat round a lamp ...... in black and white. Couldn't sleep 'cos I thought I could see them in the gap between the door and frame
