Not got off to a good start with no. 1, had 2 shortbreads and 2 fondant fancies and it's only 3 o'clock.
But on the plus side, I've started on no.3.  Sorted out 2 shelves and a drawer and filled a charity bag.

Mine is to lose about 10lbs - also want to cut down on sugar and lose my sweet tooth for good.

I also want to be more - well joyful really and enjoy the simple happy moments of every day - like smiling at something as simple as a child chatting happily to his Mum, a bird singing in a tree, or a beautiful view on my drive to work.

I also want to stop dreading something in the future. What I mean is, I let silly worries ruin a perfectly good day - say dentist or doctor appointment next day - I will be worrying about it the whole day beforehand. Or anything that I'm afraid of doing will have me worrying for days before. I want to stop that -it never helps anyway so why worry until the event actually happens. It will be hard as I've been doing it all my life   :-\

I hope you manage ariadne.

I have always been a worrier and I want to just take some time to look around and enjoy simple things.

You never know we both might get there this year.

Mine is to come home earlier from seeing in the New Year at the neighbours!  Got to bed at 4am and took a while to fall asleep, up making tea at nine, had DS and DIL in for eats and watched Sound of Music with them, went for a power nap at 6, saw Corrie and went back to bed at nine, still so so tired today - can't do it anymore  :(  Also need to cut down on sugar, keep eating sweet stuff to give me some energy  ::)
