Started looking this morning.  Found a pair of ear-rings like C.mas trees, £1.50 - suitable to hang on our tree; 1 new wipe-clean table cloth which will wing it's way to Mum; lots of New Year/Thank U cards which I need to write ........

Tomorrow - bird feeders  ;)

Found some lovely bath towels. Same place as I get bed linen. Discounts are so good.

It's called Just Linen.

I have had bedding, curtains and towels at great prices. Brilliant service too.

Anybody going/been. Got any bargains?
no not for me, hardly go to the shops, most of mine is online and the sale part of their site or their outlet bit.  If a not be bothered with the hassle, and queues and parking.  Although the odd day in the summer but apart from that no, I've never really enjoyed shopping except as a young teenager.

Me and my friends would go into town late morning all dressed up with about £2 to spend and we loved it, something to wear for the school disco

Bought some crackers, really cheap £1.25 and a pack of Christmas cards for 75p.  Don't know why as I will have forgotten about them by next Christmas and will buy more.

I bought 3 pkts of luxury Xmas cards for half price.  I also bought my fave perfume .. Calvin Klein euphoria usually £30 a bottle for £18.50 with a good sized tube of matching shower gel thrown in.  Used it this morning and it's gorgeous .... Very rich and creamy.  I also bought some burnished chestnut oil from Crabtree and Evelyn for half price. I use that in my diffuser and it smells wonderful. Then I bought a navy hoodie from M & S and that was half price. That's to wear to yoga because I always feel scruffy. They all look very elegant, except me.

According to the papers Debenhams aren't doing too well, they say they're going slash their prices even more in Jan/Feb.

I've been online buying lots of bargains for this year's birthday and xmas presents. I look on Hotukdeals for sale items and code offers.  Got 35% off Dotty P stuff on top of the sale price  ;D

Then went out to the actual shops and bought some more stuff  ;)

Wilkinson's used to do a very nice looking white lace-effect plastic table cloth.  Didnt look plastic at all.  I dont need one now my kids have grown up but at the time it was a boon for colouring/play doh/painting sessions  :) :)

RE  M&S dont shop there since they refused to refund two faulty items  :(
