Oh tell us about your dogs  ;)

You could, before your appt., visit your local Pharamcy and speak with the Pharmacist ?  He/she may well know which Surgeries are 'better' at prescribing suitable medication  ;) .......... they do have a private area for a chat!

What a great idea, I will try that if I get no joy on Thursday. I have two large white long haired german shepherds, I have always had dogs but I definitely feel that these have now become my babies ever since my boys have left home. Where I live is rural and I feel so lucky that I can just walk out of my front door and walk for miles in any direction surrounded by countryside. Also I work from home so I try to walk the dogs at least three times a day, work load permitting  ;D ;D

Hi Cacey
Another thought:  I believe smoking reduces the effectiveness of HRT so if you can stop smoking you may find this will help with many aspects.  I know giving up smoking is tough but it is really important. Good luck  DG x

White haired shepherds are not accepted by the Kennel Club which is why not many are seen, I love 'em.  A friend's sister has one ......... like a giant hearth rug  ;D  ..........

Hope you are feeling better now you've had a 'chat'!

Giving up smoking might be better in the New Year.  Get the appts./battle over with the GP, get medication sorted then after the hassle/enjoyment of the 'festive' season  ::)  ;)  ...........

Well ladies, thought I would give you a quick update, since doubling up on my patch two days ago, I slept through the night last night, no night sweats ;D ;D I even had an appetite this morning and enjoyed breakfast. I can't believe that I would have such quick results, I am still having minor flushes this morning, but feel really hopeful that increasing could be the answer. I have emailed Dr Curry & will keep you updated. Once again thanks for all your help. Cacey x
