I can't watch the video (at work and we can't access u-tube), but I remember going to HMS Belfast with school many moons ago - they had a parrot in a cage on the deck. Apparantly he used to live in the Captain's cabin, but after he'd told the Duchess of Kent to f***off, it was decided he was better suited to living with the ratings!!!
