I use bubble bath in warm water: cup of tea, Very Good Book, occasionally scented candles, warmed towel on getting out.
the only time I couldn't lay in a bath was when deeply depressed, it was so agitated I would leap in, wash quickly, leap out and sit ............ feeling guilty about all the hot water I had wasted
I also love to put my feet/ankles in a bowl of soapy water ...........

Baths don't do it for me, though I love my shower. I have a favourite walk near here. You can walk for 3 miles and not see a soul. I love to look at the beautiful countryside, listen to the birdsong and feel a connection with nature. I feel this soothes my soul.

I'm a trained reflexologist, but it was never my favourite treatment to give (and an awful lot to learn) but I never complained when I was offered one, you just lay back and relax, we were trained to give a foot massage with essential oil peppermint lotion before and after treatment.
Another bliss as you say

For me it's the sea. A walk along the shore lifts my spirits. Even just sitting listening to the waves is very soothing.
I could never move away from my coastline. I would fade away.

I'm with Honeybun, i love being beside water whether it is the sea, a river or a loch i can get lost in the sound and tranquility that it gives.

Being by the sea must be the ultimate stress reliever, failing that lying in bed listening to a downfall of rain.
I have to content myself with sea and rain CDs.

French Romantic & early C20 organ music
Last movement of Mahler 2
Mahler 8
Berlioz Te Deum
Brahms Requiem
Parry's "I Was Glad" (superb performance at the 2011 royal wedding!)
Anything by Bach
Scottish folk music
