Mood swings
« on: October 18, 2013, 10:26:17 AM »

Anyone else having a hard time with mood swings?  I'm up and down like a yoyo at the moment.  There are so many good things going on in my life just now, but one minute I'm feeling really excited and positive, then the next minute I'm feeling negative and sometimes almost in tears.  Doesn't make sense.   I'd love to hear how other folk have coped with this sort of thing.
Thanks!

Slightly, I think, CLKD.   The difference now is the short-term memory thing that kicks in and makes me almost instantly forget what I was feeling so positive about.  Maybe if I wrote these things down while I thought about them, it would be easier to get back to the happiness thread if I lost it!

writing can help

Keeping a food/mood diary is useful until we recognise these changes

Some foods of course can increase mood swings  :o
