Hi lovely ladies, I am hoping that someone will be able to perhaps shed some light on the below.
My daughter is currently travelling abroad and does not have access to specialised services such as gynaes/ultraounds etc for the next few months. She has been on the OCP for 2 years now for her skin and her gynae also decided to keep her on it to help rather painful heavy periods. She is only 20 and has never had a scan nor a papsmear. She is now in a flat spin as of late, her boobs have got really big, she is also experiencing heavier bleeding with clots and spotting between periods. I am thinking either a cyst or endemetriosis. She is so worried as she really wants to have children some day, I have told her to relax, there is no saying that she cannot have children and I am sure that whatever the blip is, will be sorted out once she is able to get to a Dr but was wondering if anyone can think of what could be causing this, I have never had problems like this before and I am trying to reassure her as best I can, but I am rather in the dark, poor child is frantic.
