Oops he did it again!
« on: September 28, 2013, 09:57:18 PM »

My son, that is. Man, what is it with boys & their toys. He's only gone & changed his car again oh & he moves house in two weeks time!  BMW was a thirsty brute. New house is much further from his work, so he said it was only practical to get something less thirsty. His dad knew all about it, but didn't tell me as I hit the roof last time. Son introduced me to new car last night. My initial reaction was - he's smashed BMW and this is courtesy car. He told me his reasoning - fairly sensible really. Payments are much less than on beamer. Hubby decided to discuss with me today. I refused to entertain him. Not because he hadn't told me, more because I got so irrate last time, I wasn't going to waste energy on it all over again. Son is 28 & it's his business!

Give them an inch  ::)

However, from your initial concerns he has now, at last, gotten himself a more reasonable car which is?  He's had the fun of the BMW and now can begin to grow up - house and a car which guzzles less  ;)  ............

Seat Leon this time. Talk about being a petrol head, or in this case diesel.  ::) Who would have thought when he was a toddler, who managed to tell me makes of cars as we passed them on long journeys - kept him amused, that he would still be so interested. His ultimate car would be a Mustang! My brother's the same it must be genetic!  ;D
