HRT is suppose to make you feel better, if it doesn't its your bodies way of saying it does not like it!

I expect a lot of ladies will say there is an HRT out there that will suit any woman, I am not so sure.

Only you can make the decision as to whether you continue.

Hi Lila - I believe that you experienced a premature menopause and are still only in your thirties? It is advisable for you to try to find an HRT which suits you as this will protect your heart and bones. How many have you tried so far?

I answered according to info in post lilia22 as Taz says if you are still in your thirties and have experienced a premature menopause , then it is advisable to try to find a compatible HRT.

Alternately I am sure some women who have gone through menopause early or surgically don't take HRT either through choice or because of medical reasons and try other methods through supplements, diet and lifestyle.

Can you find out if there is a menapause specialist in your area? Possibly give DR Currie a call and see what her take is on it ? Sounds like you need proper help , you are still young and shouldnt be bothered with all this drama,  :D

Looking down your list, headaches seem to feature a lot. This could be due to the continuous synthetic progestins. When you were on the gel, did you take separate progesterone?

If the patch suited you but just wasn't sticking, why not try another brand.  You could also try just using a patch for your oestrogen and then taking a separate progesterone such as Utrogestan.

Don't think you're alone in working your way through the whole range of options - lots of us have done the same.

Yes i guess your right, so would that mean have a patch so so many days and change to the progesterone? My ME seemed really bad when i was on the patch, tried another and it would not stick, i feel like this has been going on forever trying to find one just get so fed up with the whole thing but its comforting to no ladies like yourself are here to help, i really appreciate it so thank-you all x x x

Lila so sorry to read you are having a bad time with HRT, I am using Femseven Conti the prog in them seem to be okay with me, other HRT did not suit all, were did you put patch, I started on my bottom, but they just came off, so now put them on my tummy, and had no trouble over the last 3yrs...I did have 2 fall off over the last month but think that was due to the very hot weather...Hope you get some relief with whatever you decide to stay on..xxxx
