Hi everyone...Im new to the site and im so glad I came across it as im so confused....Im 45 and 10 years ago I had an hysterectomy because of fibroids....they left my ovaries. Is it true I could start the menopause earlier? my mother started age 48/50. As I don't have periods I don't know.
I have been moody and so weepy lately and for the past year I have been having water infections/cystitis...and my mother starting having cystitis after menopause for the first time. Theres no night sweats or hot flushes. It might just be me feeling down but its not normal for me.

   if you do a search for all of your symptoms I am sure that in the Forum you will find that other ladies have suffered similarlly!  Certainly I had several urine infections when I first went into menopause and more recently, these heralded the wonderful World of vaginal atrophy    ......... your urine must be sent away to a Lab. to be analysed.  This makes sure that you are given the correct anti-biotics if necessary.  If your tests come back clear, then talkign to your Practice Nurse about atrophy is important.  I didn't realise how important

Thanks..Ive had my urine tested loads  and my gp referred me to a specialist and ive had scans on my kidneys, bladder and all ok....touch wood I havnt had infection since January  My bladder control is not too good got to cross my legs wen sneezing, coughing etc...and was having migraines which never suffered with before (went to optician,all ok)....its just all little things that ive noticed and its so annoying that I don't know
