Absolutely love hallumi. If I had to pick 5 favourite foods Hallumi would be one of them.

We had roast chicken, roast tatties, skirlie & veg. Followed by toffee apple pudding             ( stewed apples topped with cornflakes which have been mixed with syrup, sugar & marg). Fattening? But of course.  ::)

Falafel, humous, tzatziki, roasted aubergine bake, roasted toms, salad and pitta. The sun is shining and I'm pretending we're on holiday!  x

Fillet steak, baked potatoes asparagus. Followed by strawberries and then cheese and biscuits and a nice glass of port. I am on my holidays. It's very soggy outside.....in fact it's horsing it down  ;D

Looking for somewhere nice to have a meal or two out in the week.

I had a frittata which was nice.  Hubby had jacket potato, baked mushrooms and lean beef -- he is on a mega diet.  We haven't eaten together since my botched op 😞

Hubby and I often eat different things as some of the things he likes dont sit well with me.

We potter together and then we sit down and eat together. Just because you are not eating the same thing doesn't mean to say you can't sit down together.
Sometimes hubby cooks two different things and sometimes I do and others .....then we cook our own.

It's only as hard as you make it. I enjoy sitting eating together because then we put the world to rights.  ;D

Maybe suggest that a meal together would be nice.

Get you with your yoga. I'm lying on the floor with my legs in the air, does that count?  ;) x
