I have made a large salad too with red cos, cucumber, red pepper, cress, cherry vine tomatoes, sweetcorn and walnuts.  We are having it with a cheese and leek flan I made, a sort of detox from yesterday.

Smoked mackerel does it to me every time Sparkle!. Think it was coldethyl who said that she likes it but 'it does have tendency to keep coming back up for air!!' Tee-hee, I totally agree!

Dinner done early, want to watch question time and holler at the screen. Just need to clean up first. Bit bored with this one person washing and cleaning up routine!

Enjoy ladies! x

I used to enjoy tuna but can't eat it any more, it gives me the most awful heartburn.  But salmon, I can eat any amount of that.  I just don't get it  ???

It was indeed me who described mackerel thus ER- some in fridge but as hoping to go off in van tomorrow will pass.
Not sure what I'll have - very late lunch as we had a visitor and then popped out to get shopping - picked up tin of mushroom soup so may have that later or just a bit of cheese - some days I can't muster enthusiasm to make meals - my nana stopped cooking properly in her fifties and I'm now wondering if it's a meno thing !!

It's called "the lifting of the hormonal veil" coldethyl meaning that as the hormones change we become aware that we don't have to spend all of our time looking after others I think http://www.drnorthrup.com/wisdom-of-menopause/

Really not in the mood tonight so something quick and easy. M and S stone baked pizza and I'll add sautéed mushrooms, peppers, artichokes, anchovies, tomatoes and some parmesan. Plus a mixed salad x

That doesn't sound quick and easy from where I'm sitting ER  :D - however, it sounds delicious!

What's a Greek salad ...... himself is de-frosting some ready cooked mince/veg which he will heat and pour over some rice  :-*.  I'm hungry so he's cooking earlier than usual.

Yes, I've got all of my herbs on a big window ledge in our conservatory. Had quite a bit of success with them too  :)
